The Footer options are found in the
footer-options.php file and apply to the
footer.php template which applies to the everything below and including the footer menu on every page.
The Navbar can optionally be shown in the Footer (not shown above). The default is not to show it. There can be multiple instances of the Navbar on the same page, all sharing the same options.
The footer background colour defaults to grey. The Footer optionally includes an image linked to CEOP.
There are three options to be used in the copyright section. If your Group is a registered charity, which is quite probable if you are one of the longer established Groups, then the Charity Commission encourage you to explicitly state your registered charity name on any publicity material. So here is where you can enter that you are in fact the '1st Trumpton (Camberwick Green) Scout Group', regardless of what you put in the header or called your blog (the default is the blog name). If you do have rather a long name you may have a shorter one you are more commonly known by, e.g. '1st Trumpton Scout Group', and that can also be specified (the default is not to have one). If you do have a registered charity number you can enter it here and it will be displayed in the footer (the default is not to display anything).
There is one final option which is to display a banner across the bottom of the page in the same way you can do in the header.
footer-options.php file also allows the contents of footer menus to be changed more easily. Easy Theme Options isn't being used to override that at the moment. The URLs used by the menus are configurable in the Links options.
