The following is a selection of the material found in the 1945 war diaries file (
WO 170/4372), courtesy of
Glynn Brown. The forty-six pages represent all the War Diaries for the year (or all that were copied for Glynn anyway). The National Archives have suggested that the file actually contains 775 pages of size A3 or less, plus a few of greater than A3 size, so even with multiple copies of documents there must still be still be quite a lot of additional material.
